Class poem
TIME...You have held
a chance for us, to hope, to grow, to learn, and prepared us for the world we'll face; the
new, the unexperienced, the modern.
YET...what do you
hold for each of us? What is in store for tomorrow? From the files of time gone by
may we, the unused moments, borrow?
NO...Time does not
stop for this, For things undone are things we miss, and time moves on; it does not care.
We must use each day as though a year.
YES...We must live
live as best we can, To better know and understand, To serve and love our fellow man, Then
time will not have passed in vain.

We also have two
other items in that year book. Since most reading this page wouldn't know the guys and
gals in the book and I have made this page for my grandkids ..I have just taken out the
things pertaining to me. Here they are:
last will
and testament:
I, Shirley McCartha,
will my black hair to Wendell Morris cause"I'd rather be dead than red on the
head!"
PROPHECY:
Last week I had a
call from an old friend, Jo Payne, who wanted to charter a plane to Alaska. I put
her off saying,I had none available. I guess she still hasn't given up much hope,
but I just couldn't help her out since I have mutual interests up there too. I heard
from her that Shirley McCartha and Patty Collins are still in New York, making top
salaries as models. They liked it so much when we went there on our class trip that
they just never returned.
