"The Cabins Porch"
When my mind has grown weary
And burdens weigh heavy upon me
There is a place where I can find peace
On a cabin porch in the hills of Tennessee
The cabin sits by a creek
where the clear waters flow
Hidden deep in the Smoky Mountains
Where the tall pines grow
The morning breeze is crisp
and the air is clean
You can smell the scent of flowers
and the grass is always green
Butterflies skirt about
Each going their own ways
while off in the distance
Deer begin to graze
To the echoing song of the whipperwil
Squirrels play without concerns
It's here my spirit finds peace
It's here my strength returns
It's here in these hills
under a sky of blue
That my troubles seem to fade
As the light from above shines through
It's here that my faith is restored
by the solace that I find
For God has granted me this heaven
If only in my mind
